Endangered Animals Group Project

Got started on our group project on Endangered Animals this afternoon. Some of us will be talking about Red Pandas, Sumatran Tigers, Philippine Eagles and more! We will be presenting our work next week Friday, 20th of May, at 2:00pm. Feel free to come and join us as we proudly present our awesome work!

The mini ICT and Library Suite in Kahu 2

Kahu 2 now has a mini ICT and Library suite! If you don't already know, Kahu 2 is now a Learning with Digital Technology (LwDT) classroom which means we will be learning using devices such as chrome books, iPads, Tv's and more! Isn't that exciting? Come and visit us and we will happily show you how LwDT makes our learning fun. 

Learning with Digital Technology

We are pleased to tell you that Kahu 2 is now officially a Learning with Digital Technology class!  We got 5 chrome books and a 55 inch TV in the classroom.  Make sure you come and check out how we effectively use these in the classroom!

What a way to spend the last block on a Friday. Week 2 done and dusted! Get ready for next week because Duck N' Dive is about to begin! Make sure to bring your togs, towels and sunscreen because it is going to be one hot week. Woop Woop!

We have now set our goals for the term/end of year.  In Kahu 2, we like setting and building goals, but we especially LOVE s m a s h i n g them! Keep an eye out for our awesome journey this 2016.

Planning for the Future

What are your aspirations in life? Kahu 2 students have a rough idea on what they want to be when they grow up. As a class, we discussed why it is vital to set goals, and slowly (but surely) work toward them. What's yours? Let us know :D

Signing of the Class Treaty

 

The Kahu 2 whanau has officially signed the class treaty! An agreement between the students and Matua Raphael has been finalized and it is up and running. Make sure to come and visit our class and see what we have agreed upon. We are certain that you will love section 10 of the treaty. ;)
